Moss Te Ururangi Patterson

The Festival programme has been curated in collaboration with Moss Te Ururangi Patterson, The New Zealand Dance Company (NZDC). Moss is a renowned Māori choreographer and Artistic Director, who brings both integrity and humility to his choreographic practice in Aotearoa and overseas. Moss is held in the highest regard by his peers and performing arts communities in which he has worked as a dedicated, and gifted artist, director and producer.

The Festival is Produced by JP Bolton, an experienced and knowledgable arts practitioner across Producing and Marketing functions.

Caroline Bindon

Artistic Support

Caroline has been with The New Zealand Dance Company since its inception. She has taken on the roles of artistic manager, rehearsal director, videographer, graphic designer, photographer and interim Chief Executive. She is currently developing an interactive VR dance film and continues to explore her passion for multi-media collaborations and the intersection between moving image and dance.

Nick Tomlin

Festival Technical & Production Management

The Festival has partnered with Te Ahurei Toi o Tāmaki Auckland Arts Festival, who have generously commandeered a valueable resource. Nick Tomlin is the festival Production Manager overseeing all technical aspects of the festival, from production schedules, organising crew, and designing the festival technical plans.

Melissa Fergusson

Head of Marketing and Brand Communications

The Festival has partnered with Q Theatre to lead and manage all aspects of marketing, communications, promotion, ticketing, and brand amplification. Led by Melissa Fergusson, Head of Marketing and Brand Communications, Melissa and her dynamic team are dedicated to driving the festival’s public presence and audience engagement. With a strategic approach, Melissa oversees all promotional activities, ensuring the festival’s messaging is compelling, cohesive, and reaches the right audiences.

Melissa’s leadership combines innovative thinking with a deep understanding of the arts sector, crafting campaigns that elevate the festival’s profile and maximise ticket sales. Her team works closely with artists, media partners, and stakeholders to build excitement around the festival, delivering impactful communications that highlight the unique talents and stories within each performance. Under her guidance, the marketing team amplifies the festival’s brand, ensuring its voice resonates strongly across all platforms, creating a vibrant and memorable experience for audiences.
